Full Album: 1972 Bristol 411 Series 3
Offered for sale is this rare 1972 Bristol 411 Series 3 finished in Metallic Green over Tan Connolly Leather. Equipped with it’s original (rebuilt) Chrysler 383ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission. This 411 Series 3 represents one of less than 300 ever built. The car is mechanically sound with fresh service under prior ownership and a large number of historical records.
The Metallic green paintwork is an older repaint and presents in good driver condition overall with blemishes throughout. Chrome brightwork is in good shape and the alloy body is straight overall. The interior presents in excellent shape having been restored with high quality wool-carpeting and supple Connolly leather – the wood dash trim is the only notable deficiency inside the cabin showing signs of its age. AC blows cold. An aftermarket radio with USB connectivity and period-styling has been installed. Please see the gallery for detailed images of the paint, interior, chrome, glass and other trim.
The sale includes 40+ pages of service records and other documentation dating back to 1996 when the car was acquired in London by a prior owner before being exported to California in 2003. The car has most recently been maintained as part of a large private museum/collection.
